Job Description
This is a client-facing role in support of a major FMCG client. Ultimately it entails working with the client to answer strategic business questions with data-driven insights. You need to be able to work with different types of data, but experience with Nielsen data is the bare minimum.
Responsibilities
- Be able to take a brief from client independently, understand the underlying business questions, and be able to craft an analysis plan
- Analyze and interpret data together with the analytics team to arrive at fresh and actionable insights
- Be able to summarize and visualize data in tables, charts, and graphs
- Be able to build a story, corresponding recommendations, and delivery final reports and/or presentations to client
- Lead client meetings and presentations
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 8 years experience in similar field, with background in FMCG market research (former consumer insights manager in an FMCG or client service manager in market research agency)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Nielsen Answers a plus
- Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills
- Good communication & visualization skills
- Good business- and financial acumen (including business environment and client)
- High level of client service skills
- Understanding of growth and brand strategy
