Job Description

  • To conduct business promotion activities related to Custodian Services through onboarding and managing new and existing clients and lead his/her respective subordinate to achieve financial target, ensure smooth business process, operation, control, compliance, oversee daily activities of the Custody Team, including settlement of client trades, processing of corporate actions, management reporting and client service; fund administration, compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting and coordinate with fund managers and counter parties to ensure smooth settlement process.
  • Perform system administration role. Implement process enhancement and improvements, participate in UAT testing, actively involved in custody related information collation and MIS reporting, participate in team’s Measures and SOP writing, pro-active in resolving work-related issues with internal business units and external stakeholders.
  • To supervise and monitor Custody Account Management and Services in conducting the day-to-day customers transactions and inquiries
  • Take leadership in every external discussion with clients, regulators, or other banks, as well as internal discussion with other departments.
  • To assist and collaborate with Wholesale Banking Group – FI & Custody Team Head in executing short term business strategy of Wholesale Banking Division. Support Front Office team in sale of bank’s products and services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree, preferably from Economics, Business, Accounting, Management, or Engineering major.
  • 7 years working experience, minimum 5 years in in financial sector: fund manager) or custodian banking.
  • Has an experience of minimum 3 years in leading / supervising role.
  • Has a good track record in market.
  • Minimum level 2 of Risk Certification.
  • Good knowledge of banking, custody domestic and global securities.
  • Familiar In using Core & Fund Admin system, C-BEST, S-Invest.
