Job Description
- Evaluating operations employees to identify training needs and weaknesses
- Designing and implementing training programs and workshops to help operations staff develop the skills needed for their roles and career progression
- Building an annual operations training curriculum and preparing teaching plans
- Overseeing the production of operations training materials such as process manuals, job aids, and instructional videos
- Conducting training sessions and monitoring the effectiveness of the training
- Orienting new hires to operations processes and systems
- Staying up-to-date on the latest trends and tools in operations training and development
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Training, HR, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as an Operations Trainer or in a similar role
- Significant experience in designing and delivering multiple operations training programs in a corporate setting
- Strong knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles as applied to process training
- Proficiency in using learning management software and MS Office
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to break down complex operations
- Creativity and the ability to develop engaging, hands-on training content
