PCB Design Engineer  

• Create and maintain hardware requirements specifications and hardware interface control documents
• Performs SPICE analysis of circuits using Altium/OrCAD PSPICE tools
• Performs analysis and MATLAB/Simulink modeling to generate control algorithms
• Analyze and designs magnetics for EMI filter, boost/buck inductors, and other input/output filters
• Performs component selection & obsolescence management
• Performs circuit design and schematic capture using Altium/OrCAD tools
• Performs worst caseload analysis (DC Load Analysis) on the circuit designs
• Performs component derating and thermal analysis
• Performance design performance margin analysis
• Architect, design, and develop high performance/bandwidth PCBs
• He/she will be interacting with other design departments like Hardware Team to follow design indications, Mechanical Team to follow constraints and ATE (Automated Test Equipment) Team for testing indications and requirements
• He/she will require and follow DfM and DfT (Design for Manufacturing and for Testing) report indication
• He/she will prepare and maintain all the documentation needed regarding the actual components, eg
• Work with Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, and other disciplines to develop functional assemblies
• Conduct successful design reviews, develop and adhere to design processes, and effectively document design approaches
• Work with experienced engineering staff to support the design of RF systems (UHF through Ka)
• Responsible for PCB design incorporating analog and digital functions
• Work cohesively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Read and interpret electrical/Electronic Schematics
• Create detailed electrical layouts with the use of schematics and guidance from the team

• Ability to work to and from Makati, Metro Manila
• Relevant bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering such as Design, Electronics, Engineering, Technical, Science, Education, Computer Engineering, Technology, Computer Science
• IPC CID certification is preferred but not a must. Or great familiarity with IPC CID standards.
• Must be able to observe and correct minute inconsistencies
• Must be able to follow and explain complex instructions and computer-aided design procedures
• Must be able to analyze and correct complex to extremely complex 3-dimensional design issues of a broad scope using independent judgment
• Demonstrates ability to work on ECAD Tools like Mentor Dx Designer, Expedition, etc
• Demonstrates ability to do Multilayer Printed Boards
• Demonstrates ability to understand and follow PCB layout concepts and IPC standards
• Demonstrates ability to work on Printed Board Drawings and printed Board Assembly Drawings
• Demonstrates ability to understand (DFM) Design for manufacturing aspects for Printed Board
