Production Supervisor  

Responsible for the over-all supervision of the ingredients and filling preparation and ensures that the premixes, ingredients and fillings issued to production are in accordance to approved formulation and product application set by the company.
1. Coordinates with Production Manager regarding manning requirements, daily production orders, premixes, and filling requirements.
2. Coordinates with the Dispatch Personnel regarding the percentage serving of the daily production order.
3. Coordinates with the Warehouse Personnel regarding material issuances for premix and filling
4. Coordinates with Production Personnel regarding percentage serving of premixes and fillings.
5. Coordinates with Engineering Personnel regarding repairs, maintenance, and efficiency of machines.
6. Coordinates with Quality Assurance Personnel regarding line testing of new or existing products.
7. Coordinates with HR Personnel regarding personnel issues and concerns.
8. Identifies position of the production worker and accomplishes production manning schedule.
9. Plans and organizes the daily work activities of production workers.
10. Trains personnel in their work assignments and implements personnel actions such as transfer and promotion.
11. Responsible for leaaading the section towards the achievement of company policies and goals.
12. Implements and observes safety measures and program.
13. Evaluate personnel violations and recommends appropriate disciplinary actions.
14. Closely monitors and follow-up performance of workers as well as machines, ensuring conformance to the established procedures and capacities.
15. Evaluates daily production efficiency and develip ways for improvements.
16. Checks and monitors process paramaters to ensure conformance to the established standards.
17. Checks and monitors compliance with SSOP and GMP practices.
18. Identifies and implementns productivity improvements in areas of process, machines, materials and personnel utilization.
19. Prepares reports and furnishes copies to appropriate department.
20. Supervises lines other than the assigned process line, when necessary.
21. Performs all other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
22. Non compliance with the responsibilities will result to production of nonconforming products

• Should be a Bachelor of Science graduate in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering.
  • Should have received either internal or external training regarding GMP, 5S, and SSOP.
  • Should have a basic knowledge about production management such as planning, organizing, communicating and directing.
  • Preferably with formal training on Baking Science and Technology course
  • Should have at least three years of work related experience in manufacturing set-up.
  • Preferably have experienced working in a bakery processing plant
