Job Description
- Provide expert guidance and consulting services to clients on GIS implementation, data management, spatial analysis, and geospatial technology integration.
- Lead and manage GIS projects from initiation to completion, including project planning, resource allocation, progress tracking, and ensuring project objectives are met within budget and timelines.
- Perform complex spatial analysis tasks, including spatial data modeling, geoprocessing, and network analysis, to derive meaningful insights and support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business requirements, translate them into GIS solutions, and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in GIS technology, tools, and methodologies, and apply relevant innovations to improve consulting services and deliver added value to clients.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Earth Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS consulting, with a focus on spatial analysis, data management, and geospatial technology implementation.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS or other relevant tools. Experience with geodatabases, spatial analysis, and data visualization.
- Ability to analyze complex spatial problems, identify suitable solutions, and effectively communicate recommendations to clients.
- Experience in managing GIS projects, including scoping, planning, resource allocation, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain GIS concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in preparing and delivering presentations and reports.
- Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to understand client needs, provide effective solutions, and build long-term partnerships.
