About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Golden Century Marketing in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. As Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyse financial statements to provide insights that support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and support business initiatives
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency
Minimum Qualifications
What we're looking for
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the management industry
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrable experience in leading and developing a team of accounting professionals
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
