Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, questions, and grievances, ensuring timely and fair resolution.
- Foster positive employee relations and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to improve retention strategies.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance review programs.
- Support managers and employees in setting goals and providing performance feedback.
- Address performance-related issues and guide corrective actions when necessary.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs (health, dental, life insurance, retirement plans, etc.).
- Provide information to employees regarding benefits and compensation-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
Compliance:
- Maintain knowledge of HR best practices and ensure company policies are up-to-date with labor laws and regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of compliance reports
- Ensure proper documentation and records are kept in compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and facilitate training programs for employees, including leadership development, soft skills, and technical training.
- Partner with department heads to ensure training is aligned with business needs and employee career growth.
- Track employee participation and progress in training initiatives.
HR Policies and Procedures:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure consistent application of policies across the organization.
- Regularly review and update employee handbooks and other HR-related materials.
HRIS Management:
- Maintain and update HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) to ensure accurate employee data.
- Generate reports on key HR metrics, such as headcount, turnover, and absenteeism.
Employee Engagement:
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work culture.
- Organize employee activities, recognition programs, and other events to boost morale and job satisfaction.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure the company complies with occupational safety regulations.
- Support the creation and implementation of safety training programs and promote a safe working environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or related HR functions.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
