Retail Analyst  

Toymate, the leading Toy Retailer in Australia, is seeking a data-driven and analytical individual to join our team as a Retail Analyst. This role is critical in supporting our business through detailed analysis, forecasting, and process optimisation, with the goal of driving efficiency and growth.
Responsibilities:
• Forecasting and Reporting: Create and analyse sales forecasts and performance reports to guide decision-making.
• Performance Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective measures to management to mitigate losses.
• Report Development: Design and maintain reports, track budgetary versus actual performance, and propose methods to address deviations.
• Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all reports and records.
• Policy Implementation: Develop and maintain systems, policies, and procedures aligned with organisational objectives.
• Delivery Tracking: Monitor delivery performance, identify potential delays, and resolve issues to maintain supply chain efficiency.
• Business Analysis: Prepare standardised and ad hoc reports to support key business decisions.
• Process Optimisation: Develop tools and guidelines to enhance efficiency in demand and supply chain operations.
• Data Extraction and Analysis: Extract and analyse data from databases and internal systems to support business strategies.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with merchandising, logistics, and assortment planning teams to ensure alignment across business functions.
• Project Support: Contribute to additional projects as assigned by leadership.
