Job Summary:

To ensure the timely and quality construction and renovation of multiple projects through effective project planning, implementation of project control measures and monitoring of the construction process.

Job Description:

• Ongoing projects are regularly inspected to ensure contractors’ compliance with the set design plan, Project Schedules, Sogo’s construction standards, 3S measures, pest control program, government regulations, and contractor and 5S agreement.
• Daily Accomplishment Report is reviewed to ensure compliance against the project’s milestones and timetable. Weekly Accomplishment Report is prepared and submitted to the Construction Manager.
• Cost-In-Progress Report is reviewed, reconciled against the branch’s financial records and forwarded to the Construction Manager for review.
• Recommendation for Payment is reviewed and forwarded to the Hotel Accountant and Hotel Manager and Construction Manager for evaluation.
• Crash Course Schedule Report is prepared indicating action plans to bridge the delays in the accomplishment of project milestones, and submitted to the Construction Manager for review.
• Action plans, as reflected in the approved Crash Course Schedule Report, are implemented in the project site. Project delays are resolved with the implementation of action plans.
• Continuous coordination with the Hotel Manager, Hotel Accountant and Pest Control Supervisor is conducted throughout the construction process to ensure the delivery of operational requirements.
• Contractors and suppliers billing are evaluated and recommended for approval.
• Contractors’ performance is assessed and documented.
• Variance assessment is conducted to identify the project’s quality and timetable variances against the design plan and project schedule.
• Project variance and contractors’ performance assessments are submitted to the Construction Manager.
• Submitted construction documents (Contractor’s Turnover Report, Testing & Commissioning Report, Punch List and construction reports) are checked for completion and forwarded to the Construction Manager.
• As Built Plans are completed and filed for reference.
• Certificate of Turnover is prepared and submitted to the Construction Manager.

• Must be a Civil Engineer or Civil Engineering graduate
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• With more than 10 years of work experience in project management
• Willing to travel
