Accounting Specialist | Work From Home  

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our client's esteemed finance team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will take a lead role in ensuring the integrity and precision of our company's financial records. Your expertise will be essential in daily reconciliations, expense processing, vendor invoicing, and much more!

Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data
• Oversee the processing of employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions, ensuring compliance with policies
• Review and authorize vendor invoices, guaranteeing accuracy and adherence to company guidelines
• Manage payment runs for approved vendor invoices and maintain meticulous documentation
• Utilize your expertise to ensure precise data entry into the accounting system (QuickBooks Online) for all financial transactions
• Manage outstanding accounts receivable, proactively communicating with customers for timely payments
• Conduct and review complex balance sheet reconciliations for prepaids, accruals, and other accounts
• Prepare comprehensive monthly cash flow analysis and other ad hoc financial reports to support strategic decision-making
• Oversee timely completion of all accounting month-end close procedures, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role with a strong focus on bank reconciliation, expense processing, and vendor invoice management
• Proficiency in using accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Online
• Exceptional analytical skills and unwavering attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
• In-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Must be willing to work US-based hours (graveyard shift Philippine time)
