We provide solutions to connect employers with top-tier talent while ensuring legal compliance and safeguarding data privacy. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our legal team and manage all legal aspects related to business contracts, employment agreements, labor laws, data privacy, government regulations, and other legal compliance matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate business contracts with clients, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and protecting the company's interests.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address legal risks, rights, and obligations within contracts.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date contract repository and track contract renewals and amendments.
Employment and EOR Contracts
- Prepare, review, and revise legal contracts related to employment agreements, including offer letters, non-disclosure agreements, non-compete agreements, and consultant agreements.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and local legal requirements in various jurisdictions where we operate.
- Work closely with the HR team to provide legal guidance on employment-related matters, including onboarding, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
- Assist in drafting and maintaining standard employment contract templates and related policies.
Legal Compliance and Risk Management
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to labor laws, data privacy, and government requirements, and advise the company on necessary actions and compliance measures.
- Conduct legal research and provide guidance on labor law questions, concerns, and best practices to internal teams.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of data privacy policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws, such as GDPR and CCPA.
Government Office Requirements
- Coordinate and manage legal filings, registrations, and submissions required by government offices, such as business licenses, permits, and tax-related matters.
- Liaise with external counsel when needed to ensure timely and accurate compliance with government regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
- Previous experience working as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or in a similar role within the tech industry or HR field is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, data privacy laws, and legal compliance requirements.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify potential risks and issues.
- Excellent research skills and the ability to interpret and apply legal concepts and regulations.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
