Senior Web Designer  

What would you be doing

• 1st month? Meet the team and get familiar with projects, visions, and strategies.
• 2nd month? Ramp-up activities like requirement gathering and analysis, prototyping, web designing
• 3rd month? All of the above, plus start getting knee deep with key projects design activities, such as:
  • An automated video analyzer well beyond providing insights (AI anyone?)
  • An automated channel growth predictor (big data challenges at their best)
  • Freedom! Wallet (global payment portal and factoring service)
  • Your ideas?

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborating with business teams, web developers, management throughout the design process
• Creating product definition and mapping Information Architecture
• Executing Lean UX Design Process (including research, competitive analysis, workshops, user testing & validation, production of artifacts such as sketches, wireframes, prototypes and visual design
• Creating reusable design patterns, documenting them, and creating design guidelines
• Designing solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives & Plan and facilitate interview/test/feedback sessions.
• Maintaining expert level knowledge of brand standards, championing the value of the brand ensuring design solutions support global initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, computer science, or other related fields
• 4+ years of progressively experience working as a Web Designer and/or Interaction Designer
• In-depth understanding of user-centered design methodologies and interaction design. And has solid experience in developing wireframes, prototypes, design patterns, and navigational flows.
• Expert-level skills with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, and Balsamig / Invision
• Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks such as Bootstrap, Semantic UI, Material design.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as facilitation and presentation skills, and engaging presentation style

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Digital Marketing (SEO, SEM, online advertising, email marketing, social media marketing and Google Analytics)
