The Customer Development Supervisor develops, implements, monitors plans towards the achievement of targets of his/her accounts. He/she collaborates daily work direction with his/her team of distributor to achieve the sales target within budget spend rate. He/she will work on partnership with distributor's sales people as he/she has direct responsibility for achievement of sales targets of the distributor.
Reports to the Sales Manager.
Duties:
· Implement and develop Customer Business Plan (CBP). Develop and maintain customer profiles. Manage company’s relationship with customers with an emphasis on developing new business opportunities.
· Effectively collaborates cross-functionally, both external and internal stakeholders, in order to execute all trade plans based on deep understanding of categories, channels and shoppers. Inform all key stakeholders on trade and competitive intelligence and provide recommendations as they apply to assigned customers
· Initiate, develop, implement, and evaluate plans on availability, visibility, and activations on trade and online
· Manage and utilize AR and Hanging balances
· Ensure at least 95% fill rate of distributor to accounts regularly.
· Maintain >2% trade returns and initiate plans to lessen manageable trade returns.
· Setup and manage order taking, replenishment, off-take monitoring, and product planning specifically for the retail segment.
· Proactively inspects sales activity and effort among sales associates managed, ensuring that the quality and quantity of sales effort meets company expectations.
· Works with Sales management to ensure market-level strategic and business objectives are met by the sales team.
· Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives.
· Leads field forecasting efforts among the team managed, ensuring that accurate forecasts are completed on a timely basis
- Establishes productive relationship with field marketing based on frequent communication, collaboration, and the effective allocation of marketing investment in the marketplace managed
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelors degree in any field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in key account and distributor management in FMCG sales
- He/She must have supervisory Skills
- Organizational Knowledge
- Good communication and presentation skills
