Data Scientist  

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Recommends & implements best practices for data collection, processing and structuring
• Updates Internal systems to ensure relevant and accurate data is captured for use by the team and stakeholders.
• Utilizes advanced analytical technics to identify insights & opportunities to improve and enhance marketing initiative returns
• Develops & maintains regular management reports & dashboards on business performance including but not limited to KPI tracking for customer segments, marketing initiatives and projects
• Present findings to stakeholders to drive improvements and solutions from concept through to delivery
• Mentors & shares knowledge with team members
• Builds and maintains database effectively to help facilitate modelling, analysis & reporting needs
• Scope and develops relevant new reports & dashboards in a timely manner to track business performance

Educational Requirement:

• Tertiary qualifications in Statistics, applied mathematics, engineering, applied science or related discipline.

Experience Requirement:

• 2-3 years’ experience in data science / machine learning
• Gaming experiences highly regarded but not essential

Other Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills and fluency with both technical & non-technical stakeholders
• Strong understanding of marketing concepts such as customer value cycle, segmentation practices
• Expertise in a range of data mining, visualization and statistical techniques
• Strong programming skills, including SQL, Python, SAS, R, and depending on the scope of project, text mining or machine learning
• High-level of organizational skills & effective communicator
• Knowledge of the gaming industry & business model is an advantage
• Amenable to flexible schedule and able to work outside the standard work week as business needs dictate
