Job Description

PerkUp, a fast-growing corporate gifting platform, is seeking an Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of operations, focusing on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes, systems, and partnerships. By coordinating closely with account managers, suppliers, and the customer support team, the Operations Manager will be critical in delivering exceptional service and products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and System Optimization: Design and implement robust processes and systems to scale operations for high-volume order management. Regularly review and refine operational workflows to increase efficiency and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Supplier Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify, vet, and onboard new suppliers globally. Negotiate contracts to secure the best prices, quality, and production cycles.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with account managers and suppliers to ensure products meet PerkUp's high-quality standards. Implement quality control measures to maintain consistency and excellence in all swag produced and fulfilled.
  • Order Management and Deliverability: Oversee the order fulfillment process from production to delivery. Monitor orders closely to guarantee timely delivery and collaborate with the customer support team to resolve any delivery issues swiftly.
  • Tools and Technology Management: Serve as a power user of internal tools and systems. Lead the maintenance, optimization, and updating of technological solutions to support operational efficiency.
  • Vendor Expansion and Global Networking: Proactively expand PerkUp's supplier network by identifying and securing new suppliers and vendors across the globe. Ensure a diverse and reliable supply chain that can meet the demands of our clients.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including sales, account management, and customer support, to ensure alignment on operational processes and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in e-commerce, logistics, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational processes and systems.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in using technology and software to improve operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
