Job Description

  1. Responsibilities:
    • Design, Develop, and Implement Monitoring Solutions:
    • Develop and customize monitoring frameworks using Dynatrace,Prometheus, and other monitoring tools.
    • Create and maintain scripts, dashboards, alerts, and reports to track the health and performance of applications, networks, and infrastructure.
  2. Dynatrace Implementation and Optimization:
    • Install, configure, and maintain Dynatrace agents and monitoring configurations across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
    • Work with application and infrastructure teams to ensure appropriate Dynatrace coverage for end-to-end performance monitoring.
    • Analyze and optimize Dynatrace data to provide actionable insights for performance improvements.
  3. Integration with Other Monitoring Tools:
    • Integrate Dynatrace with other monitoring platforms (such as Grafana, or Elastic Stack) to provide holistic insights into system health.
    • Develop custom integrations, plugins, or APIs to enhance monitoring capabilities across different platforms.
  4. Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
    • Develop automated solutions for monitoring and alerting to proactively identify performance bottlenecks, slowdowns, and outages.
    • Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis by leveraging monitoring data to identify root causes and system failures.
  5. Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure monitoring tools align with business and technical needs.
    • Provide technical expertise and training to internal teams on the use and optimization of Dynatrace and other monitoring platforms.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of monitoring configurations, customizations, and integrations.
    • Generate detailed reports and dashboards for senior management and IT teams to assess performance and system reliability.

Minimum Qualifications

    1. Minimum 2 years of experience working with Dynatrace and other IT monitoring tools such as Nagios, Splunk, or Zabbix.
    2. Strong experience with performance monitoring in both on-premise and cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
    3. Proficiency in Dynatrace setup, configuration, dashboarding, and alerting.
    4. Strong understanding of application performance management (APM), infrastructure monitoring, and observability principles.
    5. Hands-on experience with API development and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for monitoring tool automation.
    6. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools like Jenkins and Ansible for deployment and integration.
    7. Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues using monitoring data.
    8. Communication: written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and document monitoring processes clearly
