Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Team Lead to join our growing team in the IT Professional Services industry. This leadership role will be responsible for overseeing, coaching, and driving the performance of a sales team focused on selling technology-driven professional services to businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT sales, leadership, and the ability to foster a results-driven culture while ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth.

Job Requirements :

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the sales team, create sales strategies, and achieve targets.

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
  • Identifying and targeting potential clients, including building and maintaining a network of contacts within the industry.
  • Managing the sales team, including hiring, training, and setting goals and quotas.
  • Set individual sales targets and develop sales plans to meet these goals
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring timely and successful deal closures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT sales or technology services sales, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role managing sales teams.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in selling IT solutions or professional services such as managed services, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, or enterprise software.
  • Familiarity with sales techniques and methodologies (e.g., consultative selling, solution-based selling).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a sales team, while promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of business acumen and the ability to understand and navigate complex sales cycles.
  • In-depth understanding of the IT services and professional services industry.
  • Ability to effectively manage client relationships and resolve issues in a timely manner.
