Job Description
- Apply strong programming, algorithmic, data processing skills with significant experience in producing production-ready code in Python/Scala/Java etc
- Monitoring performance and advising any necessary infrastructure changes.
- Assisting application developers and advising on efficient big data application development using cutting edge technologies
- Knowledge in Agile work methodologies
- Ingesting huge volumes of compressed data from various platforms for Analytics needs and writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable ETL code.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, or IT related fields
- 1 year of Data Engineer, ETL developer, Data Scientist or a related field
- Exposure in Hadoop V2, Datalake, Hbase, Attunity, Kafka, Tableau, AtScale
- Having knowledge about ETL tools such as Talend or Informatica would be an advantage
- A team player, fast learner, creative, and have good communication skills
- Strong in problem-solving, analytical skills, and logical approach
- Having experience with SQL with RDBMS (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Postgre)
- Familiar with IT programming languages such as Shell Script, Java, Phyton, Scala
