Job Description
- Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
- Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts
- Create and conceptualize visually and creative executions for any needed art requirements
- Plans concepts by studying briefs provided and other supporting materials
- Select and combine the most effective shots of each scene in order to form a logical output
- Digitally cutting files to put together in a sequence of video and deciding what is usable
- Trim video segments to specified lengths, and reassemble segments in sequences
- Review assembled videos on monitors in order to determine if corrections are necessary
- Review footage sequence by sequence in order to become familiar with it before assembling it into a final product
- Illustrates concept by providing a rough layout of art and copy according to an arrangement, size, type, style, and related aesthetic concepts
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Media, Art, Design, Creative Multimedia or any related course
- Proven experience as Graphic Artist or related role
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
- Demonstrable graphic design skills and video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Prior experience working as a freelance video editor, or casual video editing experience
- Up to date with industry-leading software and technologies in design, illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop
- Experience in wholesale or retail industry would be an advantage
