Job Description
Refocus is a global online platform that provides education in Digital Marketing and IT. We are currently working in Indonesia and the Philippines. Our slogan is "Learn to earn", so we are focused on helping our students start new careers after graduating from Refocus.
What our mentor does:
- Communicate with students in a chat in Discord;
- Give feedback from students (including with the help of our instructions);
- Checking students' homework in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python;
- Working with a learning experience designer to improve the existing program;
- Helping to specify and formulate real-life tasks of a data analyst (considering local specifics);
- Helping to design practice (home assignments, tests and quizzes) and group projects;
- Reviewing lesson materials prepared by the speakers of each module and making sure they fit with the program;
- Be a speaker in live sessions;
- Helping to assess new speakers, mentors, code reviewers.

Minimum Qualifications
Who is an ideal mentor for us?
- 1,5+ years of experience specialist as a Professional Data Analyst or doing Business Intelligence in a company;
- Expert in Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI (3 tools are enough);
- Have domain expertise in Data Storytelling, Data Visualization, and Analysis;
- Have a passion to teach, high empathy, and good people skills. It's not a problem if you don't have any teaching experience, your willingness comes first;
- Growth mindset – always improving and challenging yourself;
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken);
- Native in Tagalog.
