Remedy is a wellness and technology holding company that builds, owns and operates a group of wellness and medical brands in the Philippines. Our flagship brand, Remedy Skin Solutions, is a fast-growing dermatology business that has become a market-leader in laser-based acne solutions. Remedy also operates sister companies in the medical distribution business that compliment the core dermatology business.

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll play an impactful role in operating Remedy's groupwide financial and accounting practice. You will have the opportunity to partner cross-functionally with all key areas of our business including clinic operations, marketing, and people operations.
You will be responsible for the strategic financial planning for income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow; delivering accurate financial visibility to executives and driving continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, organized, detail-oriented finance professional and critical thinker that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing our accounting team, including AP/AR, cash flow, and reconciliation. You will use Quickbooks as your system of record. You will lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tasks covering both standard procedures, such as budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, and ad hoc requests.
- You'll help provide in-depth analysis of financial results to understand performance against plan/forecast and collaborate cross-functionally with various departments.
- You'll help build and enhance financial models to monitor trends and key drivers and proactively recommend a course of action if risk is present.
- You'll prepare financial reports in a timely and accurate manner to support internal business reviews.
- You'll help us optimize our tax operations using your initimate knowledge of Philippine and offshore tax.
- You'll build and improve processes, leveraging systems, and creating necessary alignment between different organizations to streamline the current work of finance activities.
The role will be primarily remote with 1-2x a week visits to our clinics and monthly management meetings in person.
Minimum Qualifications
- Prior experience working with in an accounting or finance manager capacity is highly desired
- Experience handling all government and BIR monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory filings including tax, VAT, and withholdings
- Experience doing bank reconciliation with credit card, cash, and digital wallets
- Experience with AP/AR/Payroll
- Experience with city regulatory requirements (business permit)
- Experience filing annual tax returns for company
- Experience with SSS, PhilHealth and HDMF filings
- Experience working with online accounting software like QuickBooks
- Experience providing analysis of business performance (P/L) and cash flow
- Experience optimizing tax leveraging domestic and offshore setups
- Experience with financial modelng and financial analysis
- Experience working with digital banking
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and effective in working in a cross-functional environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
