Job Description
- Responsible for building and developing the shipmates dashboard frontend and backend
- Will work on building performant APIs
- Will write well-designed, maintainable, efficient code using best practices
- PostgreSQL and Redis
- Audits user input received from front end team
- Collaborate with team to come up necessary backend developments and solutions
- Create and test modules in developing Shipmates
- Continuously keep updated with software trends, API/server best practices among others.
- Able to do QA for other developers’ tasks as necessary
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic to Adequate knowledge using the following backend software: Ruby on Rails, and Postgresql
- Able to manage tasks in a timely manner, and ensuring excellent quality in development is provided.
