- Performs QC activities i.e. appearance checking and measurement of work piece, electrodes, standard components, final inserts, final jigs and fixtures.
- Performs Daily QC of in process inspection, incoming inspection, final inspection and first article of inspection
- Operates CMM machine.
- Dimensions all electrodes to be used for Sink EDM.
- Records every inspected parts to the master list.
- Reports any discrepancies found during the inspection to the concern people.
- Records actual data of dimensions result.
- Records actual number of hours of machining the part.
- Prepares and packs the finished part for delivery of the customer.
- Prepares parts inspection sheet report.
- Performs periodic internal calibration on all measuring tools in the tool shop.
- Reports to Tool shop Manager on the progress of the projects under him/her.
- Ensures for the safety and maintenance of machines and tools in the tool shop.
- Maintains good housekeeping 5S, proper teamwork and coordination between all other department in achieving the compliance of the company’s Quality and Environmental Management System.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.
- Must be able to work with some of the following equipment:
- Caliper
- Micrometer
- Video Measuring Machine
- XY Microscope
- Other measuring equipments
- Has professional knowledge of:
- Quality Control
- CMM operation
- Knows how to read and interpret technical drawings – First angle projection and Third Angle projection
- Basic knowledge on Microsoft windows
- Basic knowledge on Microsoft Windows and Office
- First Article of Inspection
- Understand quality
