About the Job

We are in search of a talented Android Native Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android development, with expertise in various aspects of app development including instant apps, TensorFlow Lite integration, message queue systems, and Firebase services such as Cloud Messaging and Firestore.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Android applications, including but not limited to instant apps, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and an optimal user experience.
• Implement TensorFlow Lite models into Android applications for machine learning tasks, such as image recognition, natural language processing, or other AI functionalities.
• Utilize message queue systems and integrate pub/sub mechanisms within Android applications to enable real-time communication and data exchange.
• Integrate Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications and real-time updates, ensuring robust and reliable delivery of messages to users.
• Utilize Firestore for real-time database functionalities, including data storage, retrieval, and synchronization across devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend developers to ensure seamless integration of features and functionalities.
• Optimize app performance and ensure compatibility with a wide range of Android devices and OS versions.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in Android development, machine learning, and cloud technologies, and integrate them into the development process when applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Android developer with a strong portfolio of Android apps developed and launched.
• Experience developing instant apps, with a deep understanding of the architecture and requirements for instant app development.
• Expertise in implementing TensorFlow Lite for machine learning tasks on Android devices.
• Familiarity with message queue systems and experience with integration of pub/sub mechanisms from Android native.
• Hands-on experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications and real-time updates.
• Proficiency in Firestore for real-time database functionalities, including data storage, retrieval, and synchronization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in Android app development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
