Spacer Technologies is an online marketplace that connects those looking for parking with real estate partners who offer parking. Spacer makes it incredibly simple to find a monthly parking spot and reserve it online. The platform connects our real estate partners with individuals, groups and fleets who need monthly parking.
The role of the Business Development Specialist is to help Spacer continue to build its business in new cities across North America.
Responsibilities
- Developing lists of prospects and identifying prospective clients using Spacer's in-house tools as well as conventional tools.
- Connecting with prospective clients via phone and email to introduce Spacer and describe the local parking opportunities available for them.
- Reaching out to social media postings for those with driveways or extra spaces available onto list on Spacer platform
- Assisting clients set up their accounts and ensuring a smooth and friendly onboarding process
- Representing Spacer with professionalism, integrity and enthusiasm
- Ability to work North American Hours 9AM - 5PM EST/PST
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Sales Representative.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders to find win-win solutions
- With strong communication skills and able to present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Good business sense
- Excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills
- With a good sense of relationship management and open to feedback
- Resourceful, creative and able to find innovative ways to achieve results
- Background in commercial space leasing is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM tools would be a plus (Hubspot or other similar platform)
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint
