Business Development Engineer for Condition Maintenance  

1. Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and market demands in condition monitoring, insulation monitoring, and predictive maintenance.
- Analyze competitors’ products and services to understand market positioning in areas such as insulation monitoring, electrical safety systems, and renewable energy applications.

2. Business Strategy Development:
- Develop strategies to promote condition-based maintenance (CBM), insulation monitoring systems, and electrical safety solutions for both earthed (TN systems) and unearthed power supplies
- Identify and expand opportunities in industries like healthcare (for medical power supplies), renewable energy (wind, solar), and critical infrastructure.

3. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, energy, oil & gas, and utilities.
- Provide technical support to clients, offering solutions that include insulation monitoring equipment, insulation fault location systems, and power supplies for medical applications.

4. Proposal Writing & Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients on CBM, insulation monitoring, electrical safety for IT and TN systems, and renewable energy solutions.
- Present the benefits of products such as measuring and monitoring relays, test systems for electrical equipment, and solutions that ensure electrical safety in medical technology.

5. Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Meet sales targets by converting leads into contracts for insulation monitoring, electrical safety equipment, CBM products, and renewable energy solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals.

6. Collaboration with Engineering & Maintenance Teams:
- Collaborate with the condition monitoring, insulation monitoring, and electrical safety teams to ensure feasible, innovative, and scalable solutions are developed.
- Provide feedback to engineering teams to improve products, especially in the fields of power supplies for medical applications and renewable energy systems.

7. Project Management:
- Oversee the implementation of condition monitoring, insulation monitoring, and electrical safety systems projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for projects involving test systems for electrical equipment, medical technology, and renewable energy.

8. Training & Education:
- Conduct training sessions for clients on insulation monitoring technologies, electrical safety for IT and TN systems, and renewable energy applications.
- Keep clients updated on the latest trends and regulatory changes in electrical safety for medical devices, power systems, and renewable energy applications.

1. Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred).

- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or similar is a plus.

2. Technical Expertise:

- Familiarity with insulation monitoring equipment, insulation fault location systems, and electrical safety systems for both earthed (TN systems) and unearthed power supplies (IT systems).

- Strong knowledge of power supplies for medical applications, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.

- Experience with measuring and monitoring relays, test systems for electrical equipment, and systems designed for medical technology.

- Expertise in the efficient use of renewable energies, including wind power and photovoltaics, and the integration of these into electrical systems.

3. Experience:

- 3-5 years of experience in business development or technical sales in the industrial maintenance, CBM, insulation monitoring, electrical safety, or renewable energy fields.

- Experience working in industries such as healthcare, renewable energy, manufacturing, or utilities is preferred.

4. Sales & Marketing Skills:

- Proven experience in lead generation, sales pipeline management, and closing deals in the technical or industrial sector.

- Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, especially in industries related to electrical safety, medical applications, and renewable energy.

5. Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both technical and non-technical, to engage clients and stakeholders.

- Ability to explain complex electrical safety systems, renewable energy solutions, and insulation monitoring technologies in a clear, compelling manner.

6. Project Management:

- Experience managing technical projects, particularly those involving test systems for medical devices, renewable energy installations, and electrical safety systems.

- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or other related practices.

7. Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities:

- Strong analytical mindset to assess client needs and develop innovative maintenance and safety solutions.

- Ability to provide cost-benefit analyses for investments in CBM, insulation monitoring, and electrical safety systems.

8. Certifications:

- Certification in Condition Monitoring, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), or related areas is a plus.

- Familiarity with IEC standards for electrical safety, insulation monitoring, and medical applications.

- Professional Engineering License (PE) or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is beneficial.;
