We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who will work closely with our Product and Technology team to deliver impactful EdTech experiences to our audience of 8 million Filipino learners.
Get to know the Role :
The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for developing and writing well-designed codes for Edukasyon’s website and projects.
Responsibilities :
People
- Collaborate with people across the engineering and product management teams to deliver and launch projects
- Support, teach, and learn from, other team-members at Edukasyon, especially in Product, Digital Marketing, Marketing, and Partnerships
- Help the growth of the engineering team by actively participating in code reviews, training, and mentoring
Product
- Develop and deploy new features for the future of Edukasyon’s platforms, including the website and services
- Write well-designed, testable, and reliable code as you ship product improvements that make an impact on Edukasyon’s users
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Profit
- Deliver timely launch of projects with partners and of products that will create value for the company
Purpose
- Ensure that the website can operate in the PH’s internet infrastructure and empower our 8m learners regardless of their internet connection quality
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- At least 3+ years web application development experience in JavaScript or equivalent languages, on significant projects
- Experience in building backend servers in Node.js
- Knowledge of source code control tools like Git, Github, Bitbucket, or similar
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Knowledge of JIRA & Postman
Nice to Have
- Experience working in Agile, scrum-based teams
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as Next.js, Nuxt, ReactJS, AngularJS, Vue, etc.
- Experience with Cloud Technologies/Cloud Practictioner, preferably AWS
- Relational database (MySQL or PostgreSQL) experience
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of mobile-friendly and responsive design
