Accounting Manager

Business Unit: Finance and Accounting (Internal)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing the finance and accounting unit of the company;
• Monitor and evaluate the KPIs of the different business units of the company;
• Analyze and discuss the performance of the business units to the department heads, executives, and board;
• Accomplish timely and accurate Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow) and other management reports for the company;
• Attends and reports during monthly management and executive committee meetings to discuss the Financial Statements and other management reports;
• Ensures that the accounting policies and internal controls are in place and are properly implemented;
• Identifies Accounting Internal Control weakness, and improvements;
• Mentoring and job coaching of Accounting staff;
• Reports to executives and performs other duties as may be required by them.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• At least five (5) years work experience in Accounting – Financial Statements analysis and general accounting functions
• Has been exposed to operations and administration.
• Supervisory / people management experience is a must
• Strategic, solutions-driven, and likes fixing systems and processes.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated to learn new things
• Willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig City or Cebu.
