Deskripsi Pekerjaan

We are seeking a versatile and proactive Finance Lead (CPA) with at least 4 years of experience to join our young Startup.

The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices, preferably with experience in a large advisory or accounting firm.

This role will define and implement the company’s financial policies, manage financial records, perform audits, and ensure compliance with financial regulations concerning the operation of the Moongig platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Policies
  • Define, implement and regularly review the company’s financial policies to ensure these enable the company’s ambitious goals while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Bookkeeping:
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and post journal entries as required.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Lead the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis.
  • Audit and Compliance:
  • Oversee internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accurate record-keeping.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Tax Preparation and Filing:
  • Oversee and lead the preparation and filing of local tax returns.
  • Stay current with tax regulations and ensure compliance with all tax laws.

Kualifikasi Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably with experience in a large advisory or accounting firm.
  • Previous work experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, able to take ownership of processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of Computerized Accounting Systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication (English and Filipino/Tagalog) and interpersonal skills.
