Customer MIS and Data Insights Department Head  

About the Role

Oversees a group of analysts and junior analysts who provide product data reports for different units of Retail Banking Segment. These reports include MIS reports, monitoring reports, volume and count summary reports of specific data needs. Data interpretation and insights will illuminate customer needs, identities, behaviors, and preferences and will help business units refine sales, marketing, and support strategies. The position is expected to handle the whole process, from business analysis, data requirements, data extraction, delivery method, monitoring and analyses that affect the bank's profitability.

How you'll contribute

• Provides key metrics using relevant data-driven analyses to support business users in monitoring and decision-making.
• Work closely with customer segmentation/engagement and marketing teams to identify drivers of revenue growth using data analyses to provide insights for revenue opportunities and cost minimization.
• Ensures program creation and maintenance thru proper data security protocols to adhere to bank policies and procedures pertaining to data and MIS report releases
• Technical and business design of dashboards, datamarts, and reports using any available software (Python, Quicksight, PowerBI, SSRS, R, SAS) to support analytical needs or Retail Banking Segment. This includes design of data ingestion, extraction and transformation.

What we’re looking for

• 5 - 10 years of experience in Banking and Financial, Actuarial/Statistics
• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics
• At least 2 years leading a team and coaching direct reports;
• Knowledge of basic statistical analyses; knowledge in any of the following programming languages (Python, PySpark, R, SASm Anaconda, SQL, Hadoop, Pig, Hive) and other reporting tools like Excel, QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau.
• Able to generate accurate reports and able to provide relevant and actionable insights.
