Inventory & Demand Planning Associate  

Job Summary:

The Inventory and Demand Planning Associate supports the inventory management and demand planning processes to ensure that customer demands are met while maintaining optimal inventory levels. This role is also involved in collaborating with various departments to gather input on areas for improvement in streamlining supply chain operations.

Focus Area:

1. Inventory Management

• Assists in maintaining accurate inventory records and data entry.
• Generates SKUs of aging products and relays to other team/s for strategy development on inventory optimization
• Generates report on defective products for donation or garage sale
• Prepares reports and computations on purchased product cost analyses.

2. Demand Planning

• Supports demand planning activities by gathering needed information such as historical sales data, market trends, seasonal variation, etc.
• Suggests forecasting software or tools on demand planning

3. Process Documentation

• Supports in updating process maps or workflows on inventory management
• Assists in improving current processes and tracking business performance by consolidating input or data from different sources
• Provides data such as product information, process maps, etc. needed for automation or digitalization projects in collaboration with other departments
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Preferably with experience in supply chain management in an e-commerce environment.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and demand planning.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and process documentation.
• Effective time management and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Good attention to details.
• Good communication and coordination skills for collaborating with other departments.
• Skill in using office applications or similar office software (GoogleSheet, MS Excel); background in PowerBI is a plus.
• Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced and changing environment.
