Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Oversees the operations of the In-patient billing department, In-patient coding, charge entry, claims submissions, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, and reimbursement management.
- Serves as the Subject Matter Expert and go to person for the In-patient billing processes.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance to ensure productivity and accuracy.
- Communicate and facilitate special projects, reports, and requests from client
- Manage accounts receivable, tracking outstanding balances and initiating collection efforts when necessary.
- Analyze trends in charges, coding, collection, and accounts receivable and make recommendations to the client.
- Oversees the training of new and existing inpatient billing staff if applicable.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Graduate of Medical allied courses; Nurses, Physical Therapist, Medical Technologist. Preferred but not required.
- Consultancy basis: minimum of 1 year consultancy contract.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in inpatient medical billing.
- With experience in billing Medicare Part A/ UB 04 Billing
- Understanding of ICD-9 or ICD-10 Coding
- Requires strong accuracy, attentiveness to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
