About the Role
Edge Tutor International is looking for an experienced HR Associate to join our team. The HR Associate will play a vital role in supporting our human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of HR experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping create a positive and productive work environment for our team members.
What you’ll do
● Recruitment:
○ Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
○ Source, screen, and interview candidates to identify the best talent for open positions.
○ Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, applicant tracking, and interview coordination.
○ Conduct reference checks and coordinate pre-employment assessments as needed.
● Onboarding:
○ Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
○ Prepare and distribute new hire orientation materials.
○ Assist in the development and delivery of onboarding training.
● Employee Relations:
○ Provide support to employees on HR-related inquiries and issues.
○ Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. ○ Assist in the resolution of employee conflicts and issues in compliance with company policies and regulations.
● Compliance:
○ Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations to ensure the company's compliance.
○ Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures. ○ Collaborate with the HR Manager to implement and enforce HR policies.
● Data Management:
○ Maintain and update HR databases and records.
○ Prepare HR reports and analytics as required.
○ Assist with payroll and benefits administration.
Minimum Qualifications
What You Bring
● Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
● 2-3 years of HR experience, with a strong understanding of HR best practices and regulations.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
● Knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the Philippines is a plus.
● Positive attitude and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
